Episcopal theologian to leave the ECUSA for the Antiochian Orthodox Church. Hat tip to Father Huneycutt (who really needs to get trackback capability on his blog).

Slightly off-topic, but “Orthodixie” is one of the best blog names ever.
Slightly on-topic, it’s interesting to see Episcopalians converting to Orthodoxy for the same reasons as a lot of non-ECUSA protestants (the desire to get back to a more “real” church) but with different manifestations (Protestants having converted because of the devaluing of liturgy and other “market-driven” phenomena). Pardon me if that’s oversimplifying.

Wow, my first comment! Father Huneycutt is a great writer — I’m looking forward to his book, One Flew Over the Onion Dome, coming in the mail.
Oversimplifying. Well, just about anything is. It’s complex. And it’s just as much all the converts to the ECUSA because of their “inclusivity” that drive the church to where it’s headed as anything else.
